Are you a School Leader who believes in alternative pathways and would like to make a decisive impact for students? Strafford Learning Center is seeking a Program Director for the Rochester Learning Academy. RLA is a middle/high school program for students with IEPs that need an alternative learning environment. RLA offers students small classes, innovative instructional methods, project-based learning, structure without rigidity and more.
The small, accepting setting has students saying, “I found a place where I feel like I belong”. RLA needs an administrator to supervise, organize, create and participate with passionate professionals who put the students’ needs first. Some administrative experience and coursework preferred. Certification as Principal or Special Education Administrator helpful. Knowledge of the special education process, budgeting, staff supervision and evaluation, building relationships with families, and establishing great relationships with staff through shared leadership, are ideal skill sets for the RLA Program Director.
