Laurie has served as the Program Director of PEP since 2003. She received her BA in Early Childhood Education from UMASS/Amherst and her Masters in Early Childhood Education/Special Needs from UNH. Laurie has worked with young children for over twenty years. In addition to serving as Program Director at SLC, Laurie is also the contact for preschool referrals in the Oyster River School District, and she teaches Child Development at Oyster River High School. Laurie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and watching her favorite local sports teams. She is currently on a quest to hike the NH 4000 footers.

Stacey is the proud parent of 2 PEP alums (now a Senior and a Sophomore), and was excited to join the staff 4 years ago. She is a graduate of Simmons College. Stacey was a participant in the Institute of Disabilities Leadership Series (class of 2004) and a 2016 NH LEND trainee. When Stacey is not driving her children all over the place,she enjoys reading, gardening and knitting.

Liz has a Master’s degree in early childhood special education from UNH, as well as degrees in Counseling and Anthropology. She has 20 years experience working with young children. She worked as a preschool special educator in Concord, NH for 3 years before moving to Strafford Learning Center. She lives in Barrington with her husband and young son, with another baby on the way in April of 2020. She enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with her family.

Amber Goolbis

Amber was first impressed by PEP when her son attended the program 7 years ago, She was thrilled to be able to join the team in a professional capacity in 2018. Amber earned a BA in interpersonal communication from Tulane University and went on to pursue her MS in communication sciences and disorders at UNH. For 15 years, she has provided speech, language, and swallowing services to a variety of populations, but feels she has found her niche in the preschool setting. When she’s not addressing the communication needs of young people, Amber might be found working in her gardens, cooking a delightful meal or exploring Casco Bay with her family on their boat.

Vani is a speech-language pathologist who graduated from University of New Hampshire with a MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has worked in different school settings for over 20 years and with students of all ages. She enjoys working with the preschoolers and seeing the enthusiasm and energy that they bring to the PEP program. Vani has lived in New Hampshire for the past 30 years and is married with 2 grown boys. She enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Beverly Lagueux

Beverly graduated from the University of New England. She has worked in skilled nursing facilities and school based settings. Bev has been with PEP for the past 8 years and currently supports the high school students at Oyster River as well. She most enjoys seeing a student’s pride as they gain functional skills that allow them to be successful in their school setting. In her free time, Beverly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, engaging in a variety of crafts, gardening, and being outside.

Davyanne Moriarty

Davyanne has been a fan of PEP for over 20 years. All three of her sons were students in the program. She has been a paraprofessional for 7 years on a full time basis after subbing for several years. Davyanne also works at her familys greenhouses and can be found at many local FarmersMarkets.

Karen is an early childhood special education teacher and a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst. She has worked as a special educator for 25 years and has been a part of the PEP team for 20 years. She graduated from Keene State College and received her training in Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University. Karen has lived in Durham for 33 years and is married with 3 grown boys. She enjoys numerous outdoor activities, volunteers in the community and also loves reading and spending time with friends and family.
